Food can be a great way to discover an island and really submerse yourself into the culture. In Travel Tip #5 we described all the great restaurants located right at our St. Kitts Marriott Resort. They include: FIRE Steak and Seafood restaurant, La Cucina Italian restaurant, ARWEE Lobby Bar, Calypso Restaurant and Bohemia Beach Bar and Grille.
Looking for a formal dining experience around our little 69 sq. mile island? Maybe in an air-conditioned private room or open-air, lush tropical courtyard? Then try Marshall’s, Serendipity, Waterfalls, Ciao Italian, or Stonewalls, to name just a few. Maybe another night you are looking for a more lively, local, feet-in-the-sand dining experience? Then South Frigate Bay’s “The Strip” is the place to be. When the sun goes down at this lovely beach area, The Strip transforms into a vibrant and exciting dining experience at restaurants such as Mr. X Shiggidy Shack Bar & Grill, The Monkey Bar, The Dock, and Vibes Bar along with many others. The Strip continues its transformation after dinner as an exciting hot spot with each restaurant and bar hosting a DJ, entertainers or live music. Unfortunately, we need to add an asterisk as we are hoping these local restaurants made it through the challenges of COVID.
