Here’s to 50 Years of Teamwork and Commitment
The Granite Group celebrates the thing that makes the company great; its people.

In October 2021 The Granite Group celebrates a notable milestone, 50 years in the distribution business and, more importantly, the people that have helped it grow into the company it is today.
At the urging of his father-in-law, Kevin Condron left Wall Street in 1971 and took the helm of a newly acquired, single location supply house in Worcester, Massachusetts. With hard work, an analytical mind and a willingness to take calculated risks, Kevin laid the foundation for a company that today distributes plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, water systems and energy products through branches and decorative showrooms across the six New England states.
Key to The Granite Group’s early growth and future promise are its people. Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to customers, business partners and each other has fostered a culture rooted in the importance of relationships. Today, Kevin’s son, Bill Condron, leads the company as President and CEO. And he firmly believes that the company’s people are central to what drives its success. As The Granite Group embarks on the next chapter in its history, Bill’s growth strategy includes building a durable growth engine for its people and championing a place where people feel valued and want to come to work each day.
