2019 Granite Group Employee Golf Tournament Raises $10,000 for Make-A-Wish New Hampshire!
Brings the 3-year total raised to $19,000!
TGG Cares Update: And we LOVE updates like this! This past Saturday, Granite Group team members were at Green Meadow Golf Club in Hudson, NH for our 3rd Annual Employee Golf Tournament & BBQ to raise money for Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire. Led by Granite Group Regional Director Jeff Duplessis, this year's event raised $10,000! This doubles the amount donated from last year's event and brings the 3-year total raised to $19,000.
On hand to accept the check from Jeff was Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire volunteer Padraic Moley. Padraic is not only a volunteer at Make-A-Wish®, he is also a past recipient of a Wish and he shared his amazing story with us. His Wish was a family trip to Florida Theme Parks where they could enjoy time together away from Doctors and hospital visits. Padraic is now a senior in college and we appreciate him taking the time to join us for the tournament. Thank you for coming Padraic!
Make-A-Wish® believes that Wishes are more than just a nice thing.
Their mission is "A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-Wish®. Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy.
