The Granite Group Announces Acquisition of United Plumbing Supply

Expands company’s operating footprint into Western Massachusetts

The Granite Group is pleased to announce its acquisition of United Plumbing Supply (UPS). Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Based in Springfield, MA, UPS consists of one wholesale branch located at 377 Cottage Street and a decorative plumbing showroom called, “The Bath & Kitchen Gallery,” located at 1060 Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, MA. Effective April 1, 2022, both locations have begun operating under The Granite Group umbrella.

Please note: We will be temporarily closing the UPS wholesale branch on Cottage Street for the month of April so that we can reset the warehouse, ramp up inventory and convert systems to those used here at The Granite Group. We plan to reopen the first week in May. UPS customers looking for supplies while the Springfield branch is closed, will be able to use their current accounts to make purchases and arrange delivery through our West Hartford, CT branch.
