TRAVEL TIP #12: Our Walt Disney World Park Passes
Your Walt Disney World Park Pass: Since closing for Covid, Disney has been slowly reintroducing the perks and features of both park entry and front of the line options. Here is what we know as of October 20. Your Granite Group travel package includes a 4-Day Park Hopper pass) ticket. “Park Hopper” means you can enter multiple parks in the same day if you choose. It is pretty common for someone to start at one park and hop to Epcot later in the day or evening. We can hop without any limitations or time constraints. Our park pass also includes entry to a Walt Disney water park or mini-golf course. However, our park passes do not include any front of the line features nor can it be added prior to our visit.
Genie+ and Lightning Lane features are strictly upgrades that are done through the individual’s My Disney Experience app. The Genie services is included in the app, but adding Genie+ and Lighting Lane is done through the app by day and by available attractions on that day.
Virtual Queue: a few select rides are free to ride but are available by appointment only. At 7:00am and 1:00pm you can enter the Virtual Queue to see if you are assigned an appointment time. Currently Guardians of the Galaxy and TRON Lightcycle are only available through the Virtual Queue.
