The New England Heat Pump Accelerator is a regional program designed to speed up heat pump adoption in homes across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Available only through approved participating distributors like The Granite Group, the Accelerator’s initial midstream incentives allow you to save right at the point of sale. When stacked with other state and utility incentives, the Accelerator’s incentives help make highly efficient heat pumps more affordable for your residential customers.
Here's what you need to pass along the incentive:
- Residential customer name and installation address (sales are subject to installation verification)
- Contractor contact information (name and phone number)
- Residential customer contact information (phone number and email)
- Estimated installation date
- Pre-existing water or space heating fuel type
The Accelerator’s heat pump water heater incentive is limited to one per qualifying address. Limit two heat pump HVAC Accelerator incentives per qualifying address. Sales to multifamily buildings with five or more units are not eligible. New construction sales are not eligible for incentives. The Accelerator’s incentives are funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and designed to be stacked with any available incentives provided through Energize CT, Mass Save, Mass CEC, NH Saves, Rhode Island Energy, and/or Clean Heat RI. Consult your local energy efficiency provider for specific details about those programs. The Accelerator’s incentives are open to customers with any heating fuel type (gas, electric, oil, propane, wood, etc.) and any electricity provider (utility or municipal electric light plant) in participating states.
